What is Advanced Format?

• Advanced Format is used in tournaments and recognised championship events, and features Forbidden Cards which are banned for being too powerful or otherwise likely to end the game too quickly.

What is Traditional Format?

• Traditional Format is used in casual play, where all Forbidden cards are allowed as Limited.

What are Forbidden and Limited Yu-Gi-Oh cards?

• Forbidden Cards cannot be used in your Main Deck, Extra Deck or Side Deck. Forbidden Status only exists in Advanced Format. All Forbidden cards are by default Limited in Traditional Format.
• Limited means you can use a maximum of 1 copy of each of the Limited card in your Main Deck, Extra Deck, and Side Deck combined.
• Semi-Limited means you can use up to 2 copies of each of the Semi-Limited cards in your Main Deck, Extra Deck, and Side Deck combined.
