Play tips for this YuGiOh Card

• You can use this card's effect to Special Summon Hardened Armed Dragon and then Tribute both for a White Night Dragon and it will be almost imposible to take down (It's still can be destroyed by battle, however). You can also use this tactic to summon an Earthbound Immortal if you're not relying on Totem Dragon

• Remove from play Infernal Dragon to Special Summon this card before "Infernal Dragon's" Effect destroys itself.

• Use Allure of Darkness and remove this card from play, then bring it back with D.D.R. - Different Dimension Reincarnation or Escape from the Dark Dimension."

• Using Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon, you can Special Summon almost any high level Dragon-Type Monster.

• After dumping your 5 Dragons for Five-Headed Dragon, sending 5 powerful dragons to the grave, summon a dragon and remove it to Special Summon Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon. Then start the dragon revival from your grave.
  • An alternative use for Five-Headed Dragon to get this card out is to first use Future Fusion and send this card, Red-Eyes Wyvern, and three other strong Dragons preferably Blue-Eyes White Dragons (So it is easy to fuse them). You can revive this card during End Phase and start reviving the other monsters next turn to make an early push.
  • For an OTK, use Future Fusion on the second turn, sending three DARK Dragons and 2 copies of this card. Special Summon The Dark Creator, and Remove from play one copy of Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon and Special Summon the other. Then Special Summon Dark Armed Dragon to remove any threat.
  • It would be wise to use Future Fusion to send 3 The White Stone of Legends to the graveyard along with Red-Eyes Wyvern and Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon to the graveyard. During that turn, Use the effect of Red-Eyes Wyvern to Special Summon Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon, then use the effect of Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon to Special Summon one of the 3 Blue-Eyes White Dragons from your hand that you got when you sent the 3 The White Stone of Legends to the Graveyard. That way you have a 2800 ATK monster and a 3000 ATK monster on the field all because of Future Fusion. And two turns later, you'll have the mighty Five-Headed Dragon along with your Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon, Blue-Eyes White Dragon and any other powerful Dragons that you may have summoned in those two turns.

• With Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon effect, you can Special Summon Felgrand Dragon or Darkblaze Dragon from the graveyard to activate their effects.

• You can use Instant Fusion and Special Summon Darkfire Dragon and remove it to Special Summon this card and still have your Normal Summon for that turn. This is especially handy when comboing with monsters like Chthonian Emperor Dragon. But be careful, as it burns up the cards in your hand very easily, so keep cards like Reckless Greed handy when you use this strategy.

• Use Deep Diver 's effect to place Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon on top of Deck then you'll just draw him next turn or with Monster Gate you can summon it quickly.

• This card makes great use of Trade-In to get a Dark Horus, Blue-Eyes White Dragon, or Tri-Horned Dragon into the Graveyard. If you do this, you get 2 dragons with 2800+ ATK each.

• This card can be Special Summoned by King Dragun's effect to give you an extra Special Summon. If you have a Prime Material Dragon in hand or the graveyard, you can protect all three monsters fairly well and have two free Special Summons a turn.

• Use Future Fusion to set up for a win easily by sending this card, a few level six dragons, such as Prime Material Dragon, and Magna Drago by selecting Five-Headed Dragon. Use Monster Reincarnation to add this card back to your hand then summon a Dragon to remove for it or Special Summon it to the field with Monster Reborn instead.

• Be careful of Zombie World's" effect,as it will make this card's effect useless because it will change every monster(s) on the field and in the Graveyard into Zombie-Type.

• Note that this card can be summoned as early as the first turn, and as easily as simply removing a Troop Dragon from play. Take advantage of this.

• Use Fires of Doomsday it is very flexible you can use as a tribute for Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon or with DNA Surgery you can then use it' own effect to Special Summon itself.

• With the use of DNA Surgery, you can remove cards that will return themselves when removed from play, such as D.D. Scout Plane or D.D. Survivor for a costless summon.

• Use Future Fusion to send Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon, Red-Eyes Wyvern, Mirage Dragon, Prime Material Dragon and Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6 to the graveyard for Five-Headed Dragon. Special summon Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon using Red-Eyes Wyvern's effect, and bring back Horus, (After levelling up, he will negate any Spell Cards), Mirage Dragon, (Your opponent can't use Trap Cards in the battle phase) and Prime Material Dragon (Protects your monsters from being destroyed by card effects) using Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon's effect, while getting Five-Headed Dragon after 2 turns, leaving you almost unstoppable. If possible, have cards set to prevent your opponent from stopping your Special Summons like Royal Decree (Allowing you to replace Mirage Dragon with another strong monster). Note that Tuner monsters like Magna Drago can also replace Mirage Dragon which allowing you to tune later with Prime Material Dragon or Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6 to Synchro Summon Stardust Dragon or Red Dragon Archfiend.

• You can bring back Scrap Dragon to destroy itself and one of your opponent's cards each turn.
  • If you had The White Stone of Legend on your field when Scrap Dragon was summoned, you could destroy The White Stone of Legend to add a Blue-Eyes White Dragon from your Deck to your hand.

• Bring out Blue-Eyes White Dragon using this card's effect, and use White Elephant's Gift or Advance Draw to Tribute it and draw 2 cards.

• Use Gold Sarcophagus to remove from play one of your dragon monsters and then use Burial from a Different Dimension to put your monster in your graveyard. Then summon it with Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon.

• In case multiple copies of this card is removed from play (via Crevice Into the Different Dimension, for example), you can Special Summon these cards with Return from the Different Dimension, then Special Summon any additional Dragon-Type monster you may need if possible (for example,Mirage Dragon for stopping Trap Cards or Dark Horus as decent attacker). If you're unable to OTK your opponent this way, use Book of Eclipse to avoid Return from the Different Dimension's drawback.
  • Use Soul Release if you just want to Special Summon these Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon with above way.
  • Be wary of Torrential Tribute and/or Bottomless Trap Hole. You can use Destruction Jammer to avoid those cards, and if you still have enough Life Points, you can use My Body as a Shield instead.
  • If possible, try to Synchro Summon Trident Dragion and OTK with this card before Return from the Different Dimension's effect wears off, or destroy your previously Summoned Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon so that they won't be removed from play again. If you use the latter's way, you can bring back those monsters with Red-Eyes Wyvern's effect (assuming that you didn't Normal Summon or Set this turn).

• Combine this card with Dragunity Arma Leyvaten (use multiple copies for both). You can Special Summon Dragunity Arma Leyvaten with this card's effect, while Leyvaten can equip this card into itself and Special Summon when Leyvaten is destroyed by opponent's card effect, thus maintaining field presence for both Dragons.
  • Use Future Fusion, Foolish Burial, or Dragon Canyon to help executing this combo faster.

• This card is also useful in Dragunity deck. Combine with Dragunity Darkspear to make sure you can reuse most of your Dragunities efficiently.
  • Use along with Dragunity Arma Mystletainn for easy Summon fodder to avoid removing essential Tuners like Dragunity Phalanx. Future Fusion and Red-Eyes Wyvern can also help.

• This combo might give you great speed and power: Use Future Fusion to send 2 Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon, 2 Red-Eyes Wyverns and a Dark Horus, targeting a Five-Headed Dragon in your Extra Deck. You'll get to Special Summon 2 REDMDs via the Wyverns and get to use the effect of either Red-Eyes to bring back a Dark Horus, thus bringing an ATK power of 8600! Keep a Darklord Zerato and Cold Wave for an easy Two Turns Kill(2TK).

• Since there are lots of destroying cards, you should first focus on summoning Prime Material Dragon along with the Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon to prevent it from being destroyed with cards such as Mirror Force, Bottomless Trap Hole, and etc.
  • For final step, you can summon Koa'ki Meiru Drago to block any Special Summon of LIGHT and DARK monsters, which means you can block even Chaos Sorcerer from disrupting your completed field.

• Use "Red Eyes Darkness Dragon" with "Majestic Star Dragon" for a very deadly combo.
• Step 1 Get out "Red Eyes Darkness Dragon" along with a "Stardust Dragon" and "Prime Matereial Dragon".
  • Step 2 Summon out a "Majestic Dragon" and "Stardust Xialong" (use spells and Traps that summon monsters, to speed up the process).
    • Step 3 Tune "Stardust Dragon" with "Stardust Xialong" and "Majestic Dragon" to Syncro summon "Majestic Star Dragon".
• Now when you attack, if the opponent activates a spell/Trap/Monster effect, you can tribute "Majestic Star Dragon" to negate the activation and then destroy all of your opponents cards (while you commence a brutal attack with both "Prime Material Dragon" and "Red eyes Darkness Metal Dragon", which both will be protected from being destroyed, as long as you have a card in your hand to discard, due to "Prime Material Dragons" effect).
• Now ether wait for your next turn (if you wait, Lay a card such as "Mirror Force", so if the opponent summons something higher then your monsters, you can destroy it), or if you have not used "Red eyes Darkness Metal Dragons" effect this turn, then use it and bring back "Majestic Star Dragon", who after ending your turn, goes back to the extra Deck, and brings back the "Stardust Dragon" in your Card Graveyard. Finally, use "Red eyes Darkness Dragons" effect to bring back "Stardust Xialong" (since it cannot be destroyed by battle once per turn), and then ether wait till your next turn to re-summon "Majestic Dragon" with "Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragons" effect, or use a card such as "Call of the Haunted" to bring it back, and finally, re-Syncro Summon "Majestic Star Dragon" (you can keep re-doing this, as long as you still have "Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon" and "Stardust Dragon" on the field, or bring back "Majestic Star Dragon" with "Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon", and just repeat the process).

• Use Painful Choice, Foolish Burial or Future Fusion to send Dragons to the Graveyard in order to revive them with this card's effect. If this card was sent, use Monster Reincarnation or Herald of Creation to bring it back to your hand.

• Since you can Summon dragons from your grave without cost, play Card of Safe Return.

• Since this monster can't Special Summon a copy of itself, use other revival cards like The Creator,Dark Creator,Spear Cretin,Decoy Dragon,Monster Reborn, Call of the Haunted and The Shallow Grave.
