Play tips for this YuGiOh Card

• This card can be searched via Sphere of Chaos, Vampire Dragon, Tour Guide From the Underworld and Mystic Tomato.

• Use this card in conjunction with Scrubbed Raid to stop your opponent from attacking while activating the effect of "Sangan". This is especially useful in an Exodia Deck

• "Sangan" works well with Battle Fader, Kuriboh and Watapon in order to stop another monster's attack.

• When using Enemy Controller, Tribute "Sangan" to take control of an opponent's face-up monster. Then you can search for a card from your deck with the effect of "Sangan".

• This card can be used in a combo, where you can summon "Sangan" and use Torrential Tribute. This means you can destroy your opponent's field and search out a monster.
  • A similar combo to use is when Heavy Storm is activated. Chain with Call of the Haunted or Limit Reverse to Special Summon "Sangan" and search for a monster.
    • Combo this card with Creature Swap to get your opponents monster, then attack "Sangan" to search a monster from your deck.
• This card can search powerful monsters that raise their ATK with an effect but still have 0 ATK in the deck, such as Uria, Lord of Searing Flames or Great Maju Garzett.
• Combine Time Machine with "Sangan" to re-use its ability.
• Use this card with Darkness Neosphere. The searching ability of "Sangan" will reduce the cost needed to Summon "Neosphere".
• You can also add King of the Swamp to your hand with the effect of "Sangan" and further add Polymerization to your hand. This combo works well in a deck that focuses on quickly summoning Fusion monsters.
• This card is very useful in a Quickdraw Dandywarrior deck, since it can be a synchro material with Quickdraw Synchron to summon Junk Destroyer.

• This card can be searched via Last Will and Witch of the Black Forest.

• Use "Polymerization" on this card and "Witch of the Black Forest" when they are both on the field to Summon Sanwitch. The effects of "Sangan" and "Witch of the Black Forest" will activate, allowing you to search for two monsters. This is a great way to get to the Exodia pieces faster.
  • Activate De-Fusion on "Sanwitch" in order to get "Sangan" and "Witch of the Black Forest" back onto the field. When they go to the graveyard next, their effects will activate again, allowing for up to two more pieces of "Exodia".

• This card works well with Crush Card Virus.
