Play tips for this YuGiOh Card

• This card can be searched via Sangan, Last Will, Witch of the Black Forest, Mother Grizzly, and UFOroid.

• Using Amphibious Bugroth MK-3 with A Legendary Ocean grants you a level 3 1700 ATK direct attacker. This is preferable to using the original Umi, as it actually decreases this card's ATK and DEF.
  • If you also combine this with Black Pendant, you will end up with a 2200 ATK direct attacker. Also, your opponent will pay for destroying this card.

• A good method is to use A Legendary Ocean in conjunction with Gravity Bind or Level Limit - Area B. This combines the techniques of a stall deck and beatdown and allows you to attack your opponent directly with Amphibious Bugroth MK-3 while protecting it from being destroyed in battle.

• This card works very well with Inferno Reckless Summon.Special Summon Amphibious Bugroth MK-3 from your hand with a card like Water Hazard and then activate Inferno Reckless Summon. If A Legendary Ocean is on the field, you will inflict 5100 damage to your opponent. You can also make an OTK by activating Limiter Removal before attacking to inflict 10200 damage to your opponent.
  • Use Aegis of the Ocean Dragon Lord with Limiter Removal to prevent your monsters from being destroyed, should your OTK is blocked.

• By using a Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce with Heart of Clear Water, Amphibious Bugroth is totally boosted, allowing you to inflict 2400 damage every turn (assuming A Legendary Ocean active)
