Play tips for this YuGiOh Card

• Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier can be easily special summoned with the proper use of this card. Summon Elder of the Six Samurai (Normal or special, it doesn't matter), the use Asceticism of the Six Samurai to special summon Kagemusha of the Six Samurai, then, if you have Legendary Six Samurai - Kizan in your hand, special summon it and synchro for a level 9 synchro monster. It should be easy to get Kizan into your hand even with the new lack of Shien's Smoke Signals in a deck, with the proper draw setup of any Pot of Duality, Six Samurai United, Reinforcement of the Army, or :Shien's Dojo.

• You can easily combo this card with Cunning of the Six Samurai, Six Scrolls of the Samurai, Gateway of the Six, Backs to the Wall or Double-Edged Sword Technique.

• You can use the 2-counter effect of Gateway of the Six to give your monster enough ATK to make it compatible with a Six Samurai monster in your deck (for instance, giving The Six Samurai - Yaichi 500 ATK allows you to summon the 1800-ATK Zanji). This works with other ATK-boosting methods as well.

• Six Samurai monsters with the same ATK include:
  • Hand of the Six Samurai and Legendary Six Samurai - Mizuho.
  • The Six Samurai - Zanji and Legendary Six Samurai - Kizan (if Kizan's effect that increases ATK is not active).
  • Legendary Six Samurai - Kizan and Grandmaster of the Six Samurai (if Kizan's effect that increases ATK is active).
