Once per turn, if this card is in face-up Attack Position on your side of the field, you can remove from play 1 of your opponent's monsters. The player who used this effect cannot declard an attack this turn, and the removed monster will be returned to the opponent's side of the field in the same battle position during your second Standby Phase after activation.

Rulings for Destiny Hero - Doom LordYu-gi-oh! Card
This is an Ignition Effect.
You can select a face-up or face-down monster to remove from play. A face-down monster removed with this effect will remain face-down while removed from play. So if a face-down "D.D. Scout Plane" is removed from play, its effect will not activate.
Returning the monster to play cannot be chained to. The effect will resolve and the monster will return to play during your 2nd Standby Phase even if "Destiny Hero - Doom Lord" is no longer on the field or is flipped face-down (even as a chain to the activation of his effect).
If your 2nd Standby Phase is skipped by the effect of a card like "Solomon's Lawbook", then the removed monster will never return to play.
You can activate "Destiny Hero - Doom Lord's" effect even if your Battle Phase is going to be skipped because of a card effect like "Soul Exchange".
If you declared an attack then you cannot activate "Destiny Hero - Doom Lord's" effect this turn, even if your only attack was negated.
If you have both "Destiny Hero - Doom Lord" and "Berserk Gorilla" face-up on the field you can still activate "Doom Lord's" effect. "Berserk Gorilla" will not be able to attack that turn.
If all 5 of your opponent's Monster Card Zones are full when the removed monster would return to play, it is destroyed.

Play tips for this YuGiOh Card
- This card can be searched via Sangan, Mystic Tomato, Reinforcement of the Army, Sphere of Chaos, Field-Commander Rahz, Freed the Matchless General, Destiny Signal, and Elemental HERO Stratos.
- Elemental HERO Ocean and The Warrior Returning Alive can return this card from your Graveyard to your hand.
- This card can delay your opponent by temporarily removing their threatening monster.
- If you can protect this monster from being destroyed, the banished monster will return during your 2nd Standby Phase, giving you the option of removing it again.
- Use this card to temporarily banish a face-down monster to avoid activating any effect it might have.
- Use Heart of Clear Water to protect this card.
- Use either Ojama Trio, Ground Collapse or both to fill your opponents Monster Card Zones to stop the monster from returning.
- You can prevent the cards from returning by using Burial from a Different Dimension.
- Solomon's Lawbook when played just before your second Standby Phase will prevent the monster from returning because it never occurs.
- You can use this monster's effect along with Destiny End Dragoon, even if you've already skipped your Battle Phase from using one of them.
- This card is a great way to disrupt Xyz Monsters, as they will lose their materials if they are removed via effect.
- This card can be searched via Last Will and Witch of the Black Forest.
