Play tips for this YuGiOh Card

• Traditional Format Only: This card can be searched via Witch of the Black Forest.

• This card works well with Summoning Curse.

• To not lose major field due to the Summon of Grinder Golem, use Creature Swap to steal this monster from your opponent in exchange of a Grinder Token, then you may get a powerful 3000 ATK monster for free.

• If you Special Summon Grinder Golem, you may use the Tokens to Summon Destiny Hero - Dogma, then you are able to destroy Grinder Golem with Dogma, besides of halving the opponent's LPs.
  • An alternate option is Summoning Destiny Hero - Plasma, to turn your opponent's advantage into disadvantage by using Destiny Hero - Plasma's effect.

• Similarly, you can equip Grinder Golem to Relinquished or Thousand-Eyes Restrict, tributing a Grinder Token for Black Illusion Ritual.

• You can summon this card in Defense Position. This makes it an easy target for cards like Elemental Hero Flame Wingman, Elemental Hero Shining Flare Wingman, Evil Hero Inferno Wing, Truckroid, KA-2 Des Scissors, Needle Burrower, Darkblaze Dragon, Shinato, King of a Higher Plane, Guardian Angel Joan, Greed Quasar, Armory Arm while it's equipped to another monster, etc.
  • You can also equip Grinder Golem with Nitro Unit to do extra damage.

• Necromill OTK is a type of OTK using Grinder Golem and Necroface to deck out your opponent. the attack difference between the card and its tokens is 3000, meaning if you attack Grinder Golem with 1 of its tokens, you can activate Inferno Tempest

• Grinder Golem does not prevent you from Special Summoning in the same turn, so if you Summon Grinder Golem and then discard Marionette Mite from your hand or play Remove Brainwashing, you'll be able to Summon Raviel, Lord of Phantasms.

• Equip Grinder Golem with Mask of the Accursed, and your opponent will be stuck with a powerful Monster, but will be unable to attack with it. (For insurance, also play Mask of Restrict to prevent him from Tributing Grinder Golem.)

• Summon this card for the tokens to tribute for The Wicked Dreadroot. Make sure you have a card to keep your opponent from attacking for one turn however.

• Attacking this monster while it's in defense position with a monster that inflicts Piercing damage (trample) will inflict a decent amount of damage. If you have Avenging Knight Parshath and Honest, you can inflict a larger amount of damage.

• This card works well with Turbo Rocket. Special Summon Grinder Golemin Defense Position and attack it with Turbo Rocket to inflict 1500 damage to your opponent while you'd only take 300 Battle Damage, and then Synchro Summon Turbo Cannon with Turbo Rocket and 1 Grinder Token (which you could use to destroy Grinder Golem and inflict another 1500 damage to your opponent) or both tokens to summon Armory Arm. However, be aware that you would not be able to Normal Summon or Set any monsters after Special Summoning Grinder Golem, due to its own effect.

• This card works very well with Earthbound Immortal Cusillu. While you control an Earthbound Immortal Cusillu, Special Summon Grinder Golem and attack it with Earthbound Immortal Cusillu and Tribute a Grinder Token to halve your opponent's Life Points.

• This card also works well with Earthbound Immortal Uru. You can Tribute one of the Grinder Tokens to take control of the Grinder Golem, and next turn, tribute the other token to take control of another monster.

• While having 3 Volcanic Counters and a FIRE monster in your graveyard, use one of the tokens generated by this card to attack Grinder Golem so you get 3000 damage, but your opponent will get 9000 due to the combined effects of the Volcanic Counters.

• This card can be used in a Gradius Deck, so in defense position it will be an easy target for Victory Viper XX03 or Lord British Space Fighter, and in attack position, by discarding Honest, an OTK can be easily performed.

• This card can easily be special summoned to obtain 2 tokens with 0 atk. With these, you can choose to summon Reptilianne Vaskii. You can either choose to destroy the golem with her effect, or take it back with Owner's Seal or Remove Brainwashing. Combine this with the effects of Lava Golem or Volcanic Queen and you can easily clear your opponent's field and getting high attack power monsters.

• Use the Grinder Golem tokens with cards like Hate Buster, Dimension Wall or even Chaos Burst to reflect any damage back to your opponent.

• Use Compulsory Evacuation Device to return it to your hand to obtain another two tokens; a perfect option for summoning Raviel, Lord of Phantasms. Or, if your opponent has other level 7 or higher monster(s) you can use A Major Upset to return all of them to the hand whilst giving yourself a token, and maybe even 2 more if you decide to summon again!

• Special Summon this monster and use one of its Tokens to attack him, then activate Inferno Tempest and Soul Absorption to Mill the opponent and greatly recover your LPs!

• This card works well in a Vengeful Servant FTK.

• Special Summon this card to your opponent's side of the field and tribute a token for Metamorphosis (traditional only), Black Illusion Ritual or Contract with the Abyss to summon Relinquished or Thousand-Eyes Restrict and steal back your Grinder Golem for a 3000 ATK beatstick.
