Play tips for this YuGiOh Card
- This card can be searched via Elemental Hero Stratos.
- This card combos nicely with Scapegoat. Activate Scapegoat during your opponent's End Phase, then on your turn, tribute three of the tokens to Special Summon this card.
- Sheep Tokens can be Tributed to summon "Destiny Hero - Plasma" because it is treated as a Special Summon, not a Tribute Summon. The same applies with Cloudian Tokens. An even easier method revolves around the use of a card used to summon vast amounts of Tribute Fodder - Phantom Skyblaster. Although initially designed to summon Raviel, Lord of Phantasms, Phantom Skyblaster is still useful for summoning Destiny Hero - Plasma.
- Use this card with Grinder Golem when you already have a monster on the field. You can then Tribute That monster that you already had along with the two Grinder Tokens you've been given to Summon this card. Then you'll also have a monster with 3000 ATK on you opponent's side of the field to equip to this card. Then you'll have a "Destiny Hero - Plasma" with 3400 ATK.
- By Special Summon "Grinder Golem" and then using a card to take control of it from your opponent (Marionette Mite's discard effect works well here), you can tribute the "Grinder Golem" and your two Grinder Tokens to summon this card.
- You can use Fires of Doomsday during your opponent's End Phase to summon the two Tokens, then summon another monster when it is your turn. Tribute all of them to Special Summon Destiny Hero - Plasma.
- If you equip Cyclone Blade to this card each time you attack with it, you can destroy the equipped monster and on your next turn equip another monster to it.
- Use this card to give Elemental Hero Divine Neos the effect to negate all monster effects your opponent controls.
- Use it in Naturia Decks and combine this with Naturia Bamboo Shoot.
- This card, along with Destiny Hero - Dogma, is one of the best cards in the game to support a draw engine. Being DARK, a Destiny Hero, and a Level 8 monster, it can be used with Destiny Draw, Allure of Darkness and Trade-In.
- This card can be easily summoned with Ojama Red's" effect.
- With the effect of Ojama Red, use Ojamagic beforehand to collect each and any "Ojama".
- You can destroy the monster equipped with this card with Release Restraint Wave while at the same time clearing your opponent's back row.
- This strategy is able to cripple the whole Meta of an opposing Deck:
- Destiny Hero - Plasma negates the opponent's Monster Effects on the field
- Archlord Kristya negates Special Summons, thus blocking those Nomi monsters
- Angel O7 negates Monster Effects (might sound silly, but that'll mean something)
- Burden of the Mighty neutralizes the ATK power of all of the opponent's monsters
- Use this card with Spell Canceller and Jinzo to ensure a virtual lock.
- For a much stronger and more unbeatable lock, use Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8 and "Jinzo" alongside this card. No Traps, no Spells, no Monster Effects. Your opponent would have to summon a monster with at least 2400 ATK points just to cripple one aspect of your lock.
- A near complete lock would be the following: Marshmallon, Lord of D., Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8, Jinzo, with "Destiny Hero - Plasma", while the cards: DNA Surgery to create a full Dragon-type field and Marshmallon Glasses to prevent any attacking monsters.
- By combining this monster with Obsidian Dragon, Prime Material Dragon and The End of Anubis, this monster is immune to almost any sort of effects.
- This card can be easily summoned with Hydrogeddon." you get to destroy three of your opponents monsters (with an attack less than 1600 of course) then tribute them to summon Destiny Hero - Plasma."
- For many lock-on ways, you should combine this monster's effect with cards like Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8/Spell Canceller, Jinzo/Royal Decree and Necrovalley/The End of Anubis. By adding an Angel O7, your opponent is able to do nothing
- For instance, you could replace "Angel O7" for Vanity's Ruler, thus blocking the power of the opponent's Nomi monsters. (Make sure you Summoned "Plasma" early, and Tribute Summoned Vanity's Ruler with Gellenduo)
- An easy way to summon this monster is to summon Kuriboh and cast Multiply. This will give you 5 Kuriboh tokens which will give you an easy summon of plasma and maybe two tokens for a quick Destiny Hero - Dogma summon if you have a Destiny Hero - Malicious in your graveyard.
- You can summon this monster from your deck by using Future Fusion and The Warrior Returning Alive. First, activate Future Fusion and target Elemental Hero Gaia. Send Elemental Hero Stratos and Dandylion as the fusion material to the graveyard, to get two tokens on the field. Then, activate The Warrior Returning Alive to add Elemental Hero Stratos from your graveyard to your hand. Summon Stratos, search out Destiny Hero - Plasma and summon him by tributing Stratos and the tokens. This way, Plasma comes out without losing your card adavantage and you will still get Elemental Hero Gaia later.
- This card can be searched via Witch of the Black Forest.
