Play tips for this YuGiOh Card

• This card is great in a Zombie World deck since there are multiple targets for it such as Sangan, Spirit Reaper, and of course, Plaguespreader Zombie.

• The three Cyberdark monsters make good Tribute fodder for Crush Card Virus, Deck Devastation Virus and Eradicator Epidemic Virus, as they have various ATK values according to the Dragon-type equipped monster, or after their equipment has been destroyed.

• Crush Card Virus works well at knocking out some commonly-used cards, such as Jinzo, the Monarchs, Dark Magician of Chaos, and Cyber Dragon.

• After Light and Darkness Dragon has lowered its ATK to less than 1000 with its own effect, you can Tribute it to activate Crush Card Virus.

• Use Shrink on any DARK monster with an ATK of 2000 or less to Tribute it for Crush Card Virus. Seto Kaiba uses this method several times in the second series anime

• This card, together with DNA Transplant, is able to use any kind of monster to make this card work. Try this combo with Deck Devastation Virus instead.

• Alchemy Cycle will make any DARK monster eligible for this card, though you will lose hand advantage if any monster you tribute disappears from the field.

• The Apprentice Magician toolbox is the perfect way to take advantage of Crush Card Virus, since you easily Special Summon DARK monsters with <1000 ATK. If you Summon Old Vindictive Magician, you can use its Flip Effect to destroy an opponent's monster and then Tribute it for Crush Card Virus. This is best utilized when your opponent has a monster with <1500 ATK or Elemental Hero Wildheart / Tenkabito Shien on the field.

• This card works well with Deck Devastation Virus to destroy all monsters for several turns

• This card is very powerful in a Destiny Hero Deck.

• Use The Flute of Summoning Kuriboh to Special Summon Kuriboh and use it as the Tribute.

• Black Garden can supply an almost endless amount of ammunition to play Crush Card Virus. However, Black Garden will halve your opponent's monsters' ATKs, limiting the amount of monsters Crush Card Virus can destroy.

• This card is play-able in Lightsworn Decks since they mostly use both Necro Gardna and Plaguespreader Zombie and is therefore easy to use it while building up the Graveyard

• If you recognize a specific deck archetype being used, this card becomes much more powerful after using Dark Designator. If dueling against, for example, a Cyber Dragon Deck, use Dark Designator to make sure that Cyber Dragon is in the hand when you activate Crush Card Virus.

• Before Crush Card Virus is activated, activate up to 3 Nightmare Archfiends, dealing 2400 damage for each.

• This card can be useful in an Infernity based deck due to their average low attack status.

• To protect your Crush Card Virus from being destroyed by your opponent, use Dark Bribe and Seven Tools of the Bandit. If Jinzo is on the field, use Double Snare to get rid of it and then use your Crush Card. It's also good to have Divine Wrath or Skill Drain on the field in case an opponent Special Summons a monster that has an effect that would destroy Crush Card.

• Although extremely difficult to pull off, combining Crush Card Virus with Deck Devastation Virus and 2 Eradicator Epidemic Virus's (one for spells and one for traps) will completely decimate your opponent, clearing their field and hand and leaving them wide open for your monsters to attack.

• This card pairs well with Dimensional Fissure. Crush Card destroys every strong monster in your opponent's hand and on the field for 3 turns, Dimensional Fissure removes them from the game, and Soul Absorption gives you 500 Life Points for each monster removed.

• Crush Card Virus would be an excellent card in a Dark World deck if your deck includes Spirit Reaper, Scarr, Scout of Dark World, Sangan, Broww, Huntsman of Dark World, Gren, Tactician of Dark World and Kahkki, Guerilla of Dark World.
