Play tips for this YuGiOh Card

  • Red-Eyes B. Dragon is one of the most famous and popular cards in Yu-Gi-Oh!. It may seem to be a worthless two-tribute beatdown-type monster, but that has been compensated with many support cards.
  • This card is ideal to Special Summon using Ancient Rules or Birthright.
  • This card can be searched through Summoner's Art.
  • This card can be Tribute Summoned with one Tribute, using Double Coston, Dark Effigy, Totem Dragon and even the spell card Tribute Doll. Alternately, you can use Red-Eyes B. Chick's effect.
  • Using Foolish Burial you can add this card to your Graveyard, and then Special Summon it using cards like Call of the Haunted, Monster Reborn, Premature Burial, Swing of Memories, Silent Doom, Birthright or Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon.
  • Cards that work well with Red-Eyes B. Dragon include:
    • Red-Eyes B. Chick
    • Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon
    • Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon
    • Inferno Fire Blast
    • Ancient Rules
    • Cyberdark Dragon
    • Decoy Dragon
    • Red-Eyes Wyvern
    • Masked Dragon
  • If you can get the right cards in your hand, you can summon Red-Eyes B. Chick, then tribute it for a Red-Eyes B. Dragon, then tribute it to Special Summon Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon for a powerful monster with an attack of 3000 plus any other dragons in your grave.
  • As an optional bonus, activate Inferno Fire Blast before Tributing for Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon. If you do not have Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon in your hand, you can use this combo on the first turn, thus avoiding both being unable to attack on the first turn, and the drawback of being unable to attack, due to Inferno Fire Blast's effect.
  • It can also fuse with Meteor Dragon to form Meteor B. Dragon and Summoned Skull to form B. Skull Dragon, as well as four other dragons to form Five-Headed Dragon. Future Fusion and Dragon's Mirror are ideal for this and possibly Fusion Gate
  • If you summon a Fusion monster using Red-Eyes, you could defuse it to bring out Red-Eyes and then tribute it to summon one of its stronger forms. You could then use Dragon's Mirror (if possible) to re-summon the fusion monster.
  • If you did use Dragon's Mirror then you could use Return from the Different Dimension to bring back the Fusion material monsters and then either attack with them or fuse them once again or tribute them for Red-Eyes' better forms. Due to Red-Eyes B. Dragon and Summoned Skull being Dark types you can use Escape from the Dark Dimension to bring them back and quickly fuse or tribute to avoid destruction. This method is also better since it escapes the cost of Return from the Different Dimension.
  • This card can be a great Synchro material monster; when you Special Summon this card, you can use cards like Flamvell Guard or White Stone of Legend to make a Synchro like Stardust dragon , Colossal Fighter , etc.
