You think I'm going to make weak-ATK cards forever? Here you are, most-known, legendary YGO card, Blue-Eyes White Dragon! Blue-Eyes White Dragon Blue-Eyes was the first card that can be called "legendary". He was a long time also strongest monster in game and if something was stronger, it was sort of his evolution. Originally owned by Seto Kaiba in anime. He's the most known YGO card among non-D... Read Full »

"Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from "Starter Deck Kaiba" was my very first card. There are so many ways to get it from your deck to your hand, to your field, and even to your graveyard for future use. This card has gotten me out of jams during duels. Whenever I need it, It's there. If I could make a monster real to be my pet, I would make "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" my pet. The best thing about "Blue-Eyes ... Read Full »

Play tips for this YuGiOh Card

  • This card can be searched via Summoner's Art, The White Stone of Legend, and Dragonic Tactics.
  • Use Dragon Ravine to search Dragunity monsters or selectively mill your deck of dragon type monsters like White Stone of Legend and "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" to be used with Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon.
  • You can use Ancient Rules to Summon "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" without Tributes. Birthright and Soul Resurrection also work very well, after discarding the "Blue-Eyes" from your hand with cards such as Raigeki Break, The Dragon's Bead, Lightning Vortex, etc.
  • You can use Kaibaman, Paladin of White Dragon, Totem Dragon, Kaiser Sea Horse, or Light Effigy to summon "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" with one Tribute.
  • If you play a Blue-Eyes Deck, Future Fusion is a great card to use but have a card to protect your Fusion Summon.
  • Using Soul Exchange you can tribute your opponent's monster to get "Blue-Eyes" out faster.
  • A perfect way to protect this card is with Justi-Break, as it is a Normal Monster.
  • This card is great for the Trade-In/Decoy Dragon Combo.
  • A good "Trade-In" combo with this card is to use Foolish Burial dumping "The White Stone of Legend" from your deck into the Graveyard. "The White Stone of Legend" will then let you search out "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from your deck and add it to your hand to discard for "Trade-In".
  • You can decrease "Blue Eyes White Dragon's" level using Level Retuner changing his level from 8 to 6 and then using Magna Drago to Synchro Summon a level 8 Synchro Monster like Red Dragon Archfiend or Stardust Dragon. This combo can work with any level 8 and level two monsters.
  • Another good way to Synchro Summon while using this card as one of the Synchro Material Monsters is to just use "Magna Drago" for Trident Dragion. That way, you won't have to go through the trouble of using another card to lower its Level. Activate Burst Stream of Destruction just before the Synchro Summon, then use "Trident Dragion's" effect for a possible OTK.
  • Another OTK would be to use Star Blast on "Blue-Eyes", paying 3000 life points to make "Blue-Eyes" level two, then summon him and use The League of Uniform Nomenclature to bring out two more, then use Delta Attacker and possibly Heavy Storm, and attack directly for 9000 damage.
  • Thunder-End Dragon would be the ideal Xyz Monster for a deck with multiple Blue Eyes with the aid of swarm cards like Return from the Different Dimension.
  • Non-Spellcasting Area can help protect this card from your opponent's Spell Cards.
  • You can use Future Fusion, choose Five-Headed Dragon as the Fusion Monster, then, for the Fusion Materials, select "The White Stone of Legend", Totem Dragon and other Dragons. During your next Standby Phase, revive "Totem Dragon", then Summon the "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from your hand that you got from "White Stone"'s effect.
  • Alternatively, if you have a Future Fusion and Polymerization or a similiar card in your hand, you can choose the "The White Stone of Legend" as Fusion Material for the Five-Headed Dragon. This allows you to search your deck for the "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" and fuse them together, giving you another powerful monster, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon.
