Play tips for this YuGiOh Card

• This card can be searched via Freed the Matchless General, Field-Commander Rahz, Gemini Soldier, Woodland Archer and Reinforcement of the Army.

• Be careful with the wording of his ability, as it says you can SEND one equip card to the graveyard, not destroy one equip card. Equip cards with destruction effects do NOT activate when Evocator Chevalier uses his effect.

• Supervise is a good match for this card since you can equip him with "Supervise" to destroy a card and Special Summon a Gemini monster from your graveyard.

• Using Divine Sword - Phoenix Blade in a Warrior deck will return to your hand from the graveyard with every two warrior monsters you remove from play.
  • Use Return from the Different Dimension when you are using the effect of "Divine Sword-Phoenix Blade" to bring back all of your remove from play monsters to swarm the field and finish off your opponent.
  • Use "Divine Sword - Phoenix Blade" to potentially devastate your opponent's field. You can use Power Tool Dragon, Vylon Delta or Hidden Armory to add it to your hand from your deck, and if your graveyard is filled with Warrior-type monsters, you can re-use Divine Sword - Phoenix Blade's effect over and over again during your turn to continue destroying cards on your opponent's side of the field (with "Evocator Chevalier's" effect). This can prove to be a (somewhat costly) alternative to Dark Armed Dragon. Then use "Return from the Different Dimension" to bring back all your warriors to obliterate your opponent's life points.

• Use this card with Sword of Deep-Seated in order to gain an equip card each turn.
  • Spirit Burner is another viable choice as it doesn't force you to draw an equip on your next turn and provides more flexibility and tactical options.

• Use with a Black Pendant you control to inflict 500 points of damage to your opponent.

• Equip one of your opponent's Monsters with Big Bang Shot and send the Equip card to the Graveyard, this will allow you to not only destroy one of your opponent's cards but also remove the equipped monster from play because of its effect.
  • This is an excellent counter for Stardust Dragon as it wil be removed from play before you target a card for destruction.

• Using Hidden Armory will draw your equip spell cards faster from your deck or graveyard, allowing you to quickly use his ability by drawing out Supervise.

• Use the effect of "Power Tool Dragon" or Vylon Delta to add equip cards from your deck to your hand for use with this card.

• Use this card to send D.D.R. - Different Dimension Reincarnation to the graveyard to destroy a monster on the field equipped with it that has an effect that activates in the graveyard that is removed from play. Such as Necro Gardna and Shield Warrior.

• Gilford the Legend equips equip cards from the graveyard to warrior type monsters (which includes himself). This card can destroy a lot of cards with "Gilford the Legend's effect.

• Sword Hunter and Truckroid are also good sources of Equip Spell cards; they're able to attach numerous monsters for each monster they defeat in battle.

• Koa'ki Meiru War Arms is a good source of Equip Card. Since you can equip a level 3 or lower Warrior from your graveyard, you can keep destroying one card each turn.

• If you also use Blazewing Butterfly in your deck, you may want to consider running Underground Arachnid in your deck which can easily be "Synchro Summoned with either Krebons or Plaguespreader Zombie. The monster you suck up with Underground Arachnid can be used for Evocator's effect.

• This card works well with Relinquished or Destiny Hero - Plasma.

• Along with the above tip this card also works with any Level of "Allure Queen".

• If you use this card with Allure Queen LV3, Allure Queen LV5 or Allure Queen LV7. You'll be able to take an opponent's monster and destroy a card each turn. (this varies on the level of your "Allure Queen")

• Neither Calamity's Armaments‎‎ nor Archfiend of Gilfer will work with this card because both of them would Miss the Timing.

• This card works well in a Dragunity deck.

• Another deadly combo with this card is to equip "Divine Sword - Phoenix Blade" to Gearfried the Swordmaster to destroy one monster and use this card's effect to send "Phoenix Blade" to the graveyard to destroy another card on the field. If you have two or more Warriors in the graveyard, you can repeat this combo to have "the Swordmaster" destroy monsters as "Evocator Chevalier" destroy spells and traps.

• When you activate the effect of Evocator Chevalier, Chain Gemini Spark to destroy another card in the same chain.

• This card can be searched via Witch of the Black Forest.

• Send Premature Burial to the Graveyard so that the monster it is equipped to will no longer be in danger of being destroyed by it while also destroying one of your opponent's cards.
