Play tips for this YuGiOh Card

• Remember that this card gives a Card Advantage of -1, which means a disadvantage in terms of playing. In fact, after you discard your whole hand, you have to draw the same amount of cards you discarded minus one (the "Card Destruction" just used), though your opponent will draw exactly the same amount of cards he/she was forced to discard.

• Try to make your opponent's hand as large as possible for the best effect. A good card to use would be Giant Trunade, as it will also get rid of potential trap cards your opponent may have played. (Just remember to reset your Traps and Spells first.)

• This is a godsend if your hand is filled with Dark World cards, especially Beiige, Vanguard of Dark World, Goldd, Wu-Lord of Dark World and Sillva, Warlord of Dark World, because they summon themselves from the graveyard once discarded. Combined with the fact that you are allowed to draw cards to replace the discarded "Dark World" Monsters, this will put you at a considerable advantage to your opponent.
  • Alternatively, have a few Gren, Tactician of Dark World and Kahkki, Guerilla of Dark World in your hand, to wipe the field.

• This card also works great with D.D. Scout Plane when you have at least one Banisher of the Light or Banisher of the Radiance face-up on the field or the continuous trap Macro Cosmos active on the field.

• If possible, set any cards you wish to keep before using.

• Activate this card after using the effects of The Gift of Greed, The Bistro Butcher and "Giant Trunade", then chain it with Serial Spell to mill a good portion of your opponents deck.

• This is a good card to use with Greed if you have a fairly small hand.

• This card can be devastating if you play it with Magical Thorn on the field.

• Combine this card with a previously activated Forced Requisition. If you discarded the same number cards as your opponent, they will lose their entire hand.

• Use this card with Appropriate and Hand Destruction, Dark World Dealings and Cup of Ace, so you can draw a lot of cards, and Mill both players deck heavily.

• Use this card in an Evil Hero deck so you may send Elemental Heroes to the Graveyard so they can be fused later. Drawing cards helps thin out your deck so the chances of you drawing into Dark Fusion or Dark Calling are increased. If you're going to run this card in an "Evil Hero" deck, you might as well run "Hand Destruction" and Morphing Jar.

• Use it along with Koa'ki Meiru Crusader. After you use "Card Destruction", you may get your Koa'ki Meiru monsters and Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru in your graveyard. Then, you can recover them by using "Koa'ki Meiru Crusader" effect.

• Use this card in a Zombie or a Dark Armed Dragon deck or any of the kind that rely on Special Summons through monsters in the Graveyard to easily dump monsters in the Graveyard.

• This card works great for Special Summons by sending powerful monsters to the Graveyard, but first playing cards like Monster Reborn face down and activating them after you've sent those cards to the "Graveyard".

• Combine this with Dimensional Fissure to remove monsters from play. This deprives your opponent of these monsters for good in most circumstances and can stop an Exodia deck.

• This card works great with a Dragon-themed deck focused on Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon, because if your "REDD" is already on the field and you use Card Destruction, you add more Dragons to your Graveyard, thus increasing the ATK of "REDD" due to its effect while also disrupting your opponent's strategy.
  • An alternate strategy uses Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon, getting the same strategy disruption while instead making it easier to Summon high-level Dragons.
