Play tips for this YuGiOh Card

• You can Set a monster in the same turn you activate Scapegoat.

• Though you can't use the goats for a Tribute Summon, you can still tribute them for a Special Summon, if a card requires it.

• "Scapegoat" is a very flexible card, doubly so because it is a Quick-Play Spell Card. It is best set onto the field, and then activated during your opponent's End Phase. That way, the Cannot summon on the turn this card is activated will not apply. It is also a great way to bluff your opponent and make them waste cards like Mystical Space Typhoon and Dust Tornado. For this reason, it is often a good idea to activate "Scapegoat" only when necessary.

• Activate "Scapegoat" during your opponent's End Phase. Then, on your turn, switch a token to Attack Position and use Creature Swap on it, allowing a pseudo-Direct Attack.

• Although you cannot use the goats for tribute summoning stronger monsters, they can still be used to benefit monsters on the field (as long as the effect justifies it). A very good example of this is Panther Warrior, who is able to use them towards his advantage.

• Since the Sheep Tokens cannot be used as a Tribute for a Tribute Summon, use the "Sheep Tokens" for cards that require Monster Tributes such as Magical Dimension, Two-Pronged Attack, etc.

• "Scapegoat" can be used with a Toon Deck, since it only specifies that the tokens can't be tributed for a Tribute Summon. However, they can still be tributed for a Special Summon, or for a card effect, such as Tributing for Cannon Soldier's effect or Tributing to special summon the higher level Toons such as Toon Summoned Skull, Toon Dark Magician Girl, Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon.

• You can do a lot of damage if you have Toon World on the field, this card and three "Toon Dark Magician Girl" cards. "Toon Dark Magician Girl" can attack the turn she is summoned and since its a Special Summon, you can summon all three by tributing the goats.

• Metamorphosis works very well with "Sheep Tokens". Since they are 1-Star monsters they can be tributed to Special Summon Thousand-Eyes Restrict.

• Using DNA Surgery," you can alter the type of "Sheep Tokens" so that they can be used to Special Summon monsters with specific summoning restrictions. This applies to monsters such as Raviel, Lord of Phantasms," which requires you to tribute three Fiend monsters in order to Special Summon it from your hand.

• These may be used for Ritual Summons, Fusion Summons and Synchro Summons.
  • Use this with "DNA Surgery", to easily summon Five-Headed Dragon.
  • Use the tokens as Synchro Material Monsters Junk Destroyer.

• Activate this card during your opponent's End Phase, then on your turn, tribute three of the tokens to Special Summon high-powered monsters like Destiny Hero - Plasma or Destiny Hero - Dogma.

• If your opponent activates "Creature Swap", chain "Scapegoat" and give one "Sheep Token" to your opponent, in exchange for one of your opponent's monsters. You can do the same thing with Mystic Box.

• This card can also be used against an opponent's Fissure so that one of your "Sheep Tokens" would be destroyed rather one of your monsters (in most cases anyway).

• Activate Enemy Controller and sacrifice a "Sheep Token" to take control of an opponent's monster and tribute it for a Tribute Summon. This way you get to keep three "Sheep Tokens" on your side of the field, were able to use one as a tribute, AND get rid of an opponent's monster.

• If you use this card to defend against an opponent's attack, summon Junk Synchron on your next turn and Special Summon a Level 2 monster. Now you have enough cards to summon Stardust Dragon or Red Dragon Archfiend.

• You can also use United We Stand or Chthonian Alliance, giving one of the tokens either 3200 or 2400 ATK. Also, Staunch Defender can be used to force your opponent to attack your boosted "Scapegoat" token.

• Chain All-Out Attacks to force your opponent to attack with the tokens or at least change them to Attack position if it's during your turn.

• These Tokens increase the attack of Elemental Hero Magma Neos due to the rule of all tokens being considered Normal Monster Cards in every respect.

• This works well with Substitoad in a Frog Deck since you can bring out up to four "Frog" monsters.

• You can use the tokens as the non-Tuner materials for Road Warrior's Synchro Summon.

• Use this with Quickdraw Synchron to Summon a Nitro Warrior, Turbo Warrior, Junk Warrior or any monster that uses a "Synchron" Tuner monster.

• Combining this card with Rampage Fight and United We Stand is 800 points from being an OTK.

• Use this card at the end of your opponents turn and then in your turn summon a level 1 Tuner Monster to Synchro Summon Ally of Justice Catastor
